TW: racism, ableism, medical racism, brief mention of rape, micro-aggressions, eating disorders (and specifically being weighed at the Dr.)

Happy Black History Month friends! This month we have two amazing conversations covering intersectionality within the disabled activism community and the eating disorder community.

This week, we have Iman (she/they) of @Disabled.BIPOC to chat about the importance of intersectionality within disabled activism and why it’s vital to view ableism through a lens of anti-racism as well. We talk about all things from medical racism to recognizing privilege within communities and how to use your privilege to uplift communities who are being oppressed.

Iman and I wanted to make sure we included the medical resources we talked about as well!

- Dr. Script
- LGBTQ Provider Directory
- Trans Affirming Provider Directory
- Mindful Minds BIPOC resources
- Mindful Minds Abortion resources
- Healthcare Guide for Disabled People
- @thechronicnotebook 's Mental Health Specialists for Disabled individuals guide

BIPOC Doctor Directories:
- Culturally Sensitive Dr Directory
- Black Doctors USA

Iman also shared an amazing master doc created by the wonderful @thechronicnotebook
